The People of Palmyra

Palmyra's rich history begins with the first settlers in the late 1780's, and continues today through the deeds and efforts of countless people.   We are proud to recognize those we can identify, and those who remain anonymous.  This feature - as is this web site and all of history - is a work in progress. Please feel free to submit photos, essays or memorabilia of any of Palmyra's people, past or present.

Fred Alderman of Palmyra is the little boy on the right. The far left is believed to be Ann Johnson, and the boy in the middle is believed to be a boy named Linc. This picture was probably taken in the mid-1930s. The picture is taken from the west side of Hathaway Place (probably around #333) looking east.
