The accounts of the supervisor were examined found correct and approved the following being an abbreviated synopsis of the same on file in this office
To cash received from all sources for Poor & Contingent fund $4433.61
By paid Poor Master and other Town Auditors as per vouchers on file 3051.36
By cash on hand 1382.25

On motion Voted That ($1500.) Fifteen hundred dollars be recommended to be raised for the support of the poor for the coming year, at the next Town Meeting
Dr Waltons Bill of Newark not having been audited last fall on account of want of affidavit was
Audited at $20.56
Dr. Pomerys bill of the same place at $6.75
The report of Highway Commissioners being read was accepted but held over till Saturday for completion
On motion the Board adjourned till Saturday March 1st at 1 o’clock

At an annual Town Meeting held at Palmyra Village Hall in the Village of Palmyra in and for the
Town of Palmyra on the 4th day of March 1873 Present Presiding:
Mark C. Finley, Timothy S. Jackson, James Reeves & Wm. H. Southwick—Justices

At 8:30 o’clock A.M. the Polls of the Town meeting were opened by proclamation and it was voted to close at 5:30 P.M. o’clock P.M. The electors then proceeded to vote.
At 3 o’clock P.M. the Supervisors and Highway Commissioners reports were read
On motion Voted that the sum of ($1500) Fifteen hundred dollars be raided by tax for the support
Of the poor for the ensuing year
On motion Voted that the Highway Commissioners report as read be accepted and adopted
The following resolution was then passed. Resolved that the Highway Commissioners be instructed that when they have a job of work exceeding $50.) Fifty dollars they advertise and receive proposals for the same letting the job to the lowest bidder.
We the officers presiding at the annual Town Meeting held March 5th 1873 declare the following to be the result of the canvass at said election and those receiving the highest number of votes are hereby declared elected to the various offices set over their names

To be associated with the two each in said districts who have this day been elected Inspectors of Election for the ensuing year, the said Albert Niles and William C. Beal each being one of the persons who received at the said town meeting the highest number of votes respectively for the office of Inspectors of Election next to the Inspectors so elected
