At the annual Town meeting of the inhabitants of the town of Palmyra held pursuant to adjournment at the Public House occupied by Asa Lilly in the Village of Palmyra on tuesday the fourth day of April 1843.

Voted That three assessors and four constables be chosen for the ensuing year
The following named persons having received the greatest number of votes are declared duly elected to the several and respective offices for which they are respectively named to wit

Voted that the seers? Of three dollars be refunded to Daniel Everet for error in tax of 1842
Voted that the collector of this ? be allowed three per cent for the collection of taxes the insuing year
Voted that the board of Supervisors of this county are hereby authorized to cause to be raised by tax a? this town the ensuing year five hundred dollars in addition to the sum now allowed by law and pay for constructing or repairing roads and bridges in said town.
Voted that this meeting stand adjourned untill the first Tuesday of april ? there to be held at the public house (Burker? Hill Hotel) now kept by Butler Newton in the village of palmyra at 10 o clock am

We the Board of Town Officers of the town of Palmyra at the annual town meeting held there in on the 4th day of April 1843. ? certify that we have and we do hereby appoint the following named persons to be inspectors of election respectively in the two election districts in said town to ?: Lucas G Buckley are? Of the inspectors of election for districts number one in the said town of Palmyra, and George P Stevens are of the inspectors of election for district number two in Palmyra aforesaid. The said Lucas G Buckley having received the grestest number of votes in said district number one for inspector of election excepting the persons duly elected by the people as inspectors.
The said George P Stevens having received the greatest number of votes in said district number two for inspector of elections excepting the persons duly elected by the people as inspector.
Given under our hands at Palmyra in town meeting assembled this 4th day of April 1843
