At the annual Town Meeting of the Inhabitants of the Town of Palmyra held at the Town house in the Village of Palmyra in said Town on Tuesday 1st day of April 1835.

Voted – That we choose three Asesors
Voted – That the Town Sealer be Elected on the same Ballott with the Town Officers
The following persons having received the greatest numbers of Votes are declared duly Elected to the several and respective Offices

Voted – That Lyman H Tiffany be paid back the sum of Four Dollars and fifty Cents a tax that was improperly assessed against him in 1835
Voted – That a Tax of Three Dollars and Ten Cents which was improperly asesed against Mrs Anna Howell be refunded to hir
Voted – That Fences in order to be sufficient shall be four feet high
Voted – That Fence Viewers shall be entitled to twenty five Cents for Each certificate in liew of being paid by the day
Voted – That this meeting stand adjourned until the first Tuesday of April next then to be held at the Town House at 10 Oclock AM

Town of Palmyra County of Wayne
Whereas George P. Eddy and Hiram P Thayer two of the Commisioners of Common Schools in the said Town have removed from the said Town and In consequence of said removal their office has become vacant and whereas the said George P Eddy was also Elected an Inspector of Common Schools in said Town at the annual Town Meeting in said Village and Neglected to Qualify as the Law directs Now therefore we the undersigned Thou of the Justices of the Peace of said Town Do hereby appoint John T Tripp and William White to the Office of Commisioners of Common Schools and Hiram Lester to the office of Inspector of Common Schools of said Town of Palmyra
