1811 At the annual town meeting held in the Center School House in Palmyra on the first Tuesday in April, 1811, Ira Selby, Levi Ward, and Festus Goldsmith, Justices of the Peace, Inspectors of said meeting.
Voted that Gain Robinson serve as Town Clerk for the year ensuing.
Voted that Pardon Durfee serve as Supervisor for the year ensuing.
Voted that Edward Durfee, David Willcox, and William Porter – Assessors of Taxes for the year ensuing.
Voted that Nathan Comstock, Nathan Harris, and George Culver – Commissioners of Highways for the year ensuing.
Voted that Noah Porter and Nathan Comstock – Overseers of the Poor for the year ensuing.
Voted that David Warner serve as Collector for the year ensuing.
Voted that David Warner and Nathan Harris – Constables for the year ensuing.
Voted that the men whose names are hereafter written shall serve as Overseers of Highways for the year ensuing in the following Road Districts; viz.:

Voted that the Overseers of the Highways shall serve as Fence Viewers.
Voted that the town choose a committee to determine on a site and purchase land for the purpose of erecting a pound.
Voted that the commissioners of Highways shall serve as this committee for the above purpose.
Voted that the law respecting hogs and stud horses shall stand as it did the last year.
Voted that until a sufficient pound may be built, every man's yard or enclosure shall be a pound, and the owner of said premises shall be Pound Keeper.
Voted that William H. Cuyler shall serve as Pound Keeper for the year ensuing.
Voted that common horses shall be subject to the same laws that hog are.
Voted that geese shall be under the same restrictions as that of common horses and hogs.
Voted that the law respecting noxious weeds shall stand as it did the last year.
Voted that the town shall the letter H for their common brand, and that the Town Clerk shall cause the same to be published.
Voted that the town shall provide a standard for weights and measures.
Voted that Zachary Blackman shall be a Sealer of the same.
Voted that this meeting be adjourned to the next annual town meeting then to meet at this place at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of doing business.

A record of the minutes of the alteration of a road as surveyed by Nathan Comstock, Nathan Harris, and George Culver, Commissioners of Highways; viz., beginning in the center of the road running east and west on the north side of Mud Creek between the houses of David H. Foster and Elias Reeves at the foot of the first hill about 50 rods east of the said Foster’s and 7 paces southeast from a small beech tree marked, thence east 34 degrees, north 40 rods, thence east 28 degrees, north 16 rods to intersect road east of Elias Reeves’ house, and that portion of the old road running over the hill near the house of the above said Reeves from the beginning of the above described road to its termination is hereby discontinued.
August 20th, 1811. A record from the minutes of the survey of a road as done by Nathan Comstock, Nathan Harris, and George Culver, Commissioners of Highways, beginning in the center of the road leading from Luke Mason’s northerly across Mud Creek about 3 rods north of the north bank of said creek, thence north 27 degrees, west 28 rods to the center of the highway running east and west on the north side of said creek, thence north 6 degrees, east 18 rods, thence north 16 degrees, east 12 rods, thence east 43 degrees, north 14 rods to the center of a road leading down said Mud Creek. And we do hereby discontinue the section of the road lying east of and superceded by the above described road and the same is discontinued.
September 9th, 1811. A record of the minutes of an alteration of a road on page 149 as surveyed by Nathan Comstock and George Culver, Commissioners of Highways; viz., beginning on the south side of the road running east and west on the south side of Mud Creek about 3 rods east of Howell Post’s dwelling house, thence south 20 degrees, east 8 rods and 11 links, thence east 33 degrees, south 18 rods, thence south 32 degrees, east 6 rods, thence 2 degrees, east across Mud Creek 34 rods to the center of a road on the south side of Mud Creek running east and west by James Galloway’s. The above described line to be the west line of said road.
