At an annual town meeting held in Palmyra on the first Tuesday in April at the town house: Levi Ward, Ira Selby, and James Reeves – Justices of the Peace being present, inspectors of said meeting. Gain Robinson elected by ballot – Town Clerk.

A record of the minutes of a road as surveyed by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, Commissioners of Highways in April, 1809, viz. Beginning in the center of a highway 80 rods north of the southeast corner of Lot No. 37, thence east 13 degrees, south 132 rods, thence east 13 degrees, south 46 rods, thence east 16 degrees, north 40 rods, thence east 3 degrees, north 24 rods, thence east 60 rods, thence east 2 degrees, south 18 rods, thence northeast 21 degrees, 14 rods to a public highway about 18 rods east of Wonton Aldrich's house.
April, 1809. The record of a private road laid out through the land of Joseph Pratt by his concent, 2 rods wide for the benefit of Samuel Atkins and others.
As surveyed by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, commissioners of Highways. Viz.
Beginning 8 rods north of southeast corner of Lot No. 37, thence west 13 degrees, north 84 rods to Joseph Pratt's west line.

May 5th, 1809. A record of the minutes of a road beginning at the southwest corner of Joseph Mann's farm on Lot No. 59, thence north parallel with the east line of said lot, 100 rods to a highway near the said Mann's house, the above to be the east line of said road.
May 5th, 1809. A record of the discontinuation of a road laid in the following direction, viz.: Beginning about 20 rods west of the southeast corner of Lot No. 58, thence northwesterly 180 rods, thence north 120 rods to being the road crossing Jonathan Mansdell's land in an angular manner, commonly called the Penfield Road.

1809. A record of the survey of a road beginning in the center of a highway near Oliver Booth's, running east and west, thence east 35 rods, thence south 40 degrees, east 14 rods, thence east 32 degrees, north 21 rods, thence east 160 rods, thence east 15 degrees, north to a road leading from Palmyra to Williamson as laid by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, Commissioners of Highways.

And we do hereby discontinue a road beginning where the last recorded does begin, thence running southeasterly between the lands of David Shaw and Perry Davis to a road leading from Palmyra to Williamson.

1809. A record of the minutes of a road as surveyed by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, Commissioners of Highways, viz.:
Beginning in the center of a highway 24 rods north of the northwest corner of Lot No. 11 in Township No. 12, 3rd Range of Townships near Rufus Wells, thence south 20 degrees, east 89 rods, thence south 19 degrees, east 46 rods, thence south 42 rods, thence south 8 degrees, east 42 rods, thence south 14 degrees, east 56 rods, thence south 47 degrees, east 24 rods and from thence south 7 degrees, east 78 rods to a highway near Sunderland Patterson's. Said road was laid by the consent of the owners of the land through which it passes.

1809. A record of the discontinuation of a road as done by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris in the following manner, viz: Beginning in the center of a highway 24 rods north of the northwest corner of Lot No. 11 in Township No. 12, thence south on the west line of the lot above named and the land owned by Charles Smith and Sunderland Patterson to a road running east and west, and the same is hereby discontinued.

1809. A record of the minutes of a road as surveyed by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, Commissioners of Highways, viz.:
Beginning in the center of a highway on the north line of Township No. 12 in the 3rd Range of township about 40 rods east of the northwest corner of Lot No. 67, thence south 14 degrees, east 134 rods, thence south 6 degrees, west 100 roads, thence south on the line between Peter Taft and John Ginning's land 240 rods, thence south 22 degrees, east 40 rods, thence south on the line between
Linus Leland and Jeremiah Soper to a road running east and west near Barnabus Brown. The above road was laid at the request of twelve Freeholders.

1809. A record of the minutes of an alteration of a road surveyed by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, Commissioners of Highways, viz.:
Beginning about 13 rods west of Bennett Bates' house, thence south 10 degrees, west 14 rods, thence south 15 degrees, east 42 rods, thence south 25 degrees, east 88 rods, thence south 30 degrees, east 60 rods to a road on the north side of Mud Creek running east and west and about 20 rods west of Webb Harwood's.
And the above named commissioners do hereby discontinue the section of the road lying west of and accutioned(?) by the above described road.

1809. A record of the minutes of an alteration of a road as surveyed by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, Commissioners of Highways for the present year, viz.: Beginning in the center of a road about 40 rods south of the north line of Isaac Thayer's land at a beech tree, thence south 35 degrees, east 105 rods to the center of a road on Isaac Thayer's land, and the above named commissioners do hereby discontinue the section of the road which is superceded by the above described alteration of a road.

1809. A record of the division of the 21st Road District as surveyed by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, Commissioners of Highways for the Town of Palmyra, viz.: beginning at the northeast corner of Sunderland Patterson’s land on Lot No. 11 being the east line of said district, thence west to the west line of the town to be called the 22nd Road District in said town. A record of the minutes of a road as surveyed by Nathan Comstock and George Culver, Commissioners of Highways, viz.: beginning in the center of a highway about 40 rods north of Joseph Hamilton’s dwelling house, thence east 65 rods, thence southeast 58 rods, thence east 122 rods, thence north 63 rods, thence east 18 rods to the west corner of Sarah Champion’s land, thence north 40 rods, thence east 70 rods, thence north 17 rods, thence east 30 rods, thence north 4 rods, thence east 66 rods to a public highway running north and south near Esq. Ward’s grist mill. The above road was laid by the consent of the owners of the land through which it passes.

A record of the minutes of an alteration of road as surveyed by Nathan Comstock and Nathan Harris, Commissioners of Highways, viz.: Beginning in the center of a road about 2 rods south of Humphrey Herman’s blacksmith shop, thence north 30 degrees, east 31 rods, thence north 47 degrees, west 16 rods, thence west 22 rods, thence west 58 degrees, south 34 rods.
And the above named commissioners do hereby discontinue the section of a road occupied by and lying south of the above described road.

A record of the minutes of a road as surveyed by Nathan Harris and George Culver, Commissioners of Highways, viz.: beginning 6 rods east of Arthur Harris’ house in the center of a road running east and west by said Harris, thence south 26 degrees, west 29 rods, thence south 240 rods, thence south 15 degrees, east 60 rods, thence south 20 degrees, east 84 rods, thence south 25 degrees, east 70 rods, thence south 42 rods on the town line intersecting the roads leading from Nathan Harris’ to intersect the road by William Davidson’s on the center line of the Town of Palmyra.

1809. A record of the discontinuation of a road as done by Nathan Comstock, Nathan Harris, and George Culver, Commissioners of Highways, viz.: Beginning at the road running east and west from David White’s distillery to Darius Comstock about 6 rods east of a barn owned by Sylvanus Conant near a brook, thence northerly to Paul Reed’s saw mill dam of pond, and the same is hereby discontinued.
