SOUTH CREEK ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Palmyra Highway Department
October 19, 2010 - This project is now complete with the exception of the road striping.  Wayne County Highway will be striping as soon as we get some dry weather, likely sometime this week.

August 30, 2010 - We completed paving on August 19.  We intend to install shoulder material over the next couple weeks and perform any final asphalt driveway and lawn restorations.

August 8, 2010 - This past week we milled South Creek Road.  This week we intend to complete some drainage work on the adjacent Vault Road.  Next week we intend to pave South Creek Road and a portion of Vault Road.  Paving is tentatively scheduled for August 17th and 18th.

July 25, 2010- Palmyra Highway and Midland Asphalt intend to grind South Creek Road from Vault Road to Port Gibson Road the first week of August.  We are currently in the process of completing our remaining drainage work before we grind the road.  The road will essentially be a gravel road for about two weeks.  Paving is tentatively scheduled for mid-August.  We will follow this work up with the addition of new shoulders and finally any other restoration work.  Residents will be notified of any access issues or delays.

May 27, 2010 - Starting next week we will continue changing out some storm culverts that we did not get completed last summer. There will be some road closures over the next couple weeks between the Vault Road and Port Gibson Road intersections as we complete this work.  Despite the lack of a NYS Budget still and our CHIPs money we are still hoping to complete this road reconstruction project this summer.
